At Capuchin monkey babies 4 home, we stand by the health and well-being of our monkeys, and we want to ensure that your new companion is healthy and happy. We encourage you to compare our health warranty to others, as we believe this is one of the best guarantees you’ll find online! We offer this because our monkeys and their parents are healthy, come from reputable sources, and are raised with the utmost care.

What is the Capuchin Monkey Health Warranty?

While no one can guarantee that a living creature will never face health issues, we provide a health warranty to offer you peace of mind and protection when adopting your capuchin monkey. This warranty covers two parts:

Part 1 – Protection Against Illness Upon Arrival This part ensures that you are protected from receiving an unhealthy monkey. You must have your monkey examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving it. If your veterinarian determines that the monkey is ill and/or unfit for sale, you can return the monkey for a full refund of the adoption fee or choose a “next available” monkey of your liking.

A few important details:

• We require an original written statement from your veterinarian.
• We will not reimburse veterinary fees.
• Shipping fees are non-refundable. However, if you paid for shipping, we will cover the cost to return the monkey.
• If you opt for a replacement, we will cover the shipping cost of the next available monkey.

Part 2 – Protection Against Genetic or Congenital Diseases This part provides protection against serious genetic or congenital defects that may arise. If your capuchin monkey is diagnosed with a serious genetic defect or congenital disease before one year of age, we will provide you with a healthy replacement. We will also work with you to determine the best course of action for your monkey’s care.

Examples of conditions that would entitle you to a healthy replacement include:

• Life-threatening genetic disorders or defects
• Degenerative nerve disorders

Conditions that do not qualify for a replacement include, but are not limited to:

• Conditions that do not impact the longevity or quality of life of the monkey
• Treatable conditions that an otherwise healthy monkey can live with happily

We will accept a veterinarian’s opinion on what constitutes a serious defect but may require a second opinion at our expense. Please note that no refund will be issued in the case of obvious neglect or violations of the Sales Agreement.

If we are unable to provide a healthy replacement within six months or if we are no longer operating our facility, we will refund the original adoption price (excluding shipping fees).
